Disability Inclusion & Accessibility

At Insight we believe that an inclusive workplace strengthens our culture, fuels innovation, and ensures every teammate can thrive. Our commitment to disability inclusion is rooted in transparency, accessibility, and continuous improvement — from recruitment through every stage of employment.

Insight participates in the UK Government’s Disability Confident scheme, a national initiative designed to help employers recruit, retain, and develop disabled people and those with long term health conditions.

By being part of the Disability Confident programme, Insight demonstrates its commitment to removing barriers, supporting disabled teammates, and maximising the talents they bring to our organisation.

Inclusive & Accessible Recruitment

We are committed to ensuring that every candidate has equitable access to opportunities at Insight. We commit to creating an inclusive recruitment process, offering reasonable adjustments, and considering applicants based on their abilities.

Our recruitment commitments include:

Providing an inclusive and accessible recruitment process, including adjustments during interviews and assessments. Candidates can request changes or additional accommodations at any point during the application process, and our Talent Acquisition team is ready to support them.

Offering an interview to candidates with a disability who meet the essential criteria for the role, in line with Disability Confident principles. Our Interview System option is available during the application process. Candidates who apply under the scheme and meet the job requirements will be contacted by the Talent Acquisition team. Participation is voluntary and is not connected to requests for adjustments. Our aim is to ensure that people with disabilities have fair access to our opportunities and receive the support they need from our hiring team to perform at their best.

Ensuring that job postings, application systems, and communication methods are accessible and barrier free.

Workplace Adjustments & Ongoing Support

Workplace Adjustments & Ongoing Support

We understand that every person’s needs are unique, and we aim to provide the right support for everyone to perform at their best.

Examples of workplace adjustments we can provide include:

  • Ergonomic equipment, accessible desks, or specialised hardware
  • Flexible or hybrid working arrangements
  • Adjustments to duties or work patterns where appropriate
  • Access to an Occupational Health assessment and Workplace Adjustment Passport

These adjustments help ensure that disabled teammates have the tools, flexibility, and support they need to succeed at Insight.

Our Ongoing Commitment

Insight is committed to:

  • Regularly reviewing our disability inclusion practices
  • Increasing accessibility across all areas of the business

  • Partnering with external organisations to maintain best practice approaches

Together, we are building a workplace where everyone belongs and everyone can thrive.

Mental Health & Wellbeing

Our mental health mission is to promote a positive work environment where teammates feel empowered to be the best version of themselves.

Mental Health & Wellbeing

We aim to achieve this by:

  • Promoting an environment where teammates can fulfil their individual purpose whilst enjoying a healthy work-life balance
  • Providing a safe space for teammates to bring their whole selves to work and feel like they belong

MENtal Health Collective

Insight has established the MENtal Health Collective to provide the comprehensive, sustained infrastructure needed to dismantle stigma and foster accessible environments for open dialogue.

  • Across the EU, suicide rates among men are almost four times higher than among women (European Commission, 2023)
  • Globally, men are less likely than women to access mental health support, particularly in male dominated industries (World Health Organization, 2020)

Mental Health First Aiders Collective

Life can be overwhelming. Our Mental Health First Aiders provide a friendly, non-judgmental space to talk. While not clinical counsellors, our team is professionally trained by the Mental Health Foundation to offer immediate peer support and guidance.

  • Breaking down stigma around mental health in the workplace
  • Providing access to signposting, support and resources for all
