Insight Software Live - Configuration, Management & Support


Provisioning


Insight Software Live allows an authorised administrator to log on and configure new accounts for users with a range of software applications tailored precisely to match their needs. The process takes literally seconds to complete and can be managed centrally without the need for desk-side support.

User templates can be set up to simplify this even further. For example, an administrator could create an 'accounts' profile for users in the accounts department. When a new member joins the accounts team, all the administrator has to do is add a new user and choose the 'accounts' template.


Storage


Storage is managed in exactly the same manner. Additional storage can be provisioned for individual users, department or the entire organisation. This can be provided as virtualised “File Storage” or as a component of a Microsoft SharePoint portal.


Printing


Though any packages used are completely remotely hosted, any files can be sent direct to your local printers. Print an Excel 2007 spreadsheet, for example, and it outputs as if you were running the software from your local machine.


Cost Management


License management and utilisation metrics are centrally produced in real time and enable accurate cross billing within an organisation by department, or by user.


Round the Clock Support


Support is 24 x 7 x 365 via a web portal help desk where each user can log calls, monitor and track how the call is progressing.
