In today’s fast paced IT environment, Insight’s installation, move, add, change services enable us to help our clients manage all aspects of their IT environment throughout the infrastructure lifecycle. Insight Client Solutions delivers IMAC services within and outside of normal office hours (9.00am-5.30pm) anywhere in the UK, minimising disruption to end-users.

Insight Client Solution’s services encompass installations and configurations, technology refreshes, de-installations and disposals, moves, audits, portable appliance testing and resource supply. These services can be provided for small <10 user rollouts to technical refreshes of 1000+ users and cover a wide range of hardware including desktops, laptops, printers, extending through to complex server installations.


IMAC Service Summary



Install


Installation and verification of new IT systems; deliverables may include site preparation, software loading, configuration of network parameters, user familiarisation.

Engineers unpack, check and connect to power and network points demonstrating that the system is fully operational to the agreed specification.

Move

Movement of existing equipment to new client locations

Add

Addition of new accessories, memory, or processor upgrades

Change

Change of existing configurations due to events such as new users, data transfers, or migration to a new operating system

Insight Client Solution’s provision of IMAC services is provided by dedicated teams of highly skilled, fully accredited engineers. All significant projects are assigned a Prince II accredited Project Manager. This ensures projects are correctly managed, with the right levels of resource applied to complete the project within the specified timescales and within budget.

To ensure accurate reporting and tracking, all changes to equipment configurations are reported and captured on asset databases.
