Service Summary


These range from hardware upgrades on desktops and laptops to a full hardware build, soak-test and Operating System install on complex servers:

Server builds generally require a simple, client-agreed build sheet with settings and options for the engineers to work with minimising client input from order through to delivery.

Our qualified engineers, following previously defined step-by-step instructions, carry out these projects. A configuration specialist will complete a pilot build for you to test and sign off, prior to the rollout commencing.


Configuration System


The Configuration Centre runs a bespoke software-based Quality Assurance (QA) system that controls and automates any orders, randomly selecting QA checks as well as defining the standard Total Quality checks at the bench. It also issues a full QA statement for each unit built. All units carry their own data and configuration file providing a history of every unit passing through the Configuration Centre.


Handling Faults and DOA's


To minimise the risk of your mission critical equipment failing upon arrival, Insight will pre-check items from our warehouse to ensure the problem of a DOA machine does not occur.

Any faulty machines will be returned by the Configuration Centre to Insight Client Solution's suppliers and the equipment will be replaced from Insight Client Solution's stock cutting down on any inconvenience caused to the client.


Asset Tagging


For security purposes, Insight is also able to Asset Tag your IT equipment. Clients can provide their own tags, or use our own high-security, fully-tested barcode tags. A full register of equipment is provided for tracking and auditing purposes.
