Quality Assurance Policy
The policy states that we strive for a quality assurance rate of
over 99.9%. In 2008 we exceeded this by achieving over 99.9% QA rate and we
are on track for exceeding the expected QA rate for 2009. We also have
a software based Quality Assurance system that automates
orders and can randomly request QA checks.
Cost
Why spend money on expensive technicians to come in and spend days
installing operating systems, hardware upgrades and network setups? Here at Insight, we can install your custom image (and back it up
for future use for future purchases if required), we can downgrade your
machines (providing the operating system is included with the machine)
and install hardware.
We have even set up a whole rack unit, shipped it ready to plug in for use and configured it remotely.
Anti-static floor certificates
Our floors are tested on a regular basis to ensure it is up to
standard. Our engineers are also
issued with anti-static foot straps
that require mandatory daily testing to ensure no components are
damaged by electro-static discharge. Our engineers are required to wear
the anti-static foot straps at all times in the lab area.

Server builds generally require a simple, client-agreed build sheet
with settings and options for the engineers to work with minimising
client input from order through to delivery.
Our qualified engineers, following previously defined step-by-step
instructions, carry out these projects. A configuration specialist will
complete a pilot build for you to test and sign off, prior to the
rollout commencing.
Handling Faults and DOA's
To minimise the risk of your mission critical equipment failing upon
arrival, Insight will pre-check items from our warehouse to ensure the
problem of a DOA machine does not occur.
Any faulty machines will be returned by the Configuration Centre to
Insight Client Solution's suppliers. The equipment will be replaced
from Insight Client Solution's stock cutting down on any inconvenience
caused to the client.
