The lifecycle management of IT assets is an important issue with an ever increasing focus on environmental policies and legal obligations. Insight provides you with an efficient, reliable and cost effective means of IT equipment disposal that is fully auditable and complies with all relevant legislation.

Insight will carry out a full assessment of the disposal requirement, using an asset inventory, we will advise as to whether there is any residual value in the equipment, which will be used to offset associated retirement costs.

Insight offerings

  • Asset Disposal
        De-manufacturing, deconstruction and/or recycling of end-of-life equipment.
        WEEE disposal and recycling of assets deemed as having no fair market value that need to be destroyed.
        Certificate of Destruction is provided.
  • Asset Remarketing
        Assets are audited and tested, and initial remarketing value is determined.
        Assets submitted to secondary market for resale.
        Client receives check and spreadsheet of remarketed assets listed by serial number and Certificates of Erasure.
  • Device Data Erasure
        All data is eliminated by defined data erasing standards, an automatic three-pass overwrite of drives that is in accordance
        with government regulations.
  • Redeployment Readiness
        Equipment is pre-defined by the Client.
        Approved repairs are performed by Insight.
        Equipment stored in secure client-specific warehouse location
        Can be imaged as part of a future redeployment.
