Credit, Debit, and Purchasing Cards
Credit Cards

Insight accepts Visa, MasterCard, and American Express, credit, debit and purchasing cards.

Requirements for using AMEX: The bill to and ship to address must be the same, or an alternate ship to address must be on file with AMEX prior to shipment of the order.

Have you considered applying for Business Open Account terms? It's quick, it's easy and in many instances can be completed on-line with no documents to print, sign, and fax.

Do you want to keep availability open on your credit or purchasing cards? Leasing is a cost effective and financially astute alternative.

Card Verification Code

The Card Verification Code, or CVC*, is an extra code printed on your debit or credit card. With American Express the CVC appears as a separate 4-digit code printed on the front of your card. With all other cards (Visa, MasterCard, bank cards etc.) it is the final three digits of the number printed on the signature strip on the reverse of your card. As the CVC is not embossed (like the card number), the CVC is not printed on any receipts, hence it is not likely to be known by anyone other than the actual card owner.

We ask you to fill out the CVC here to verify beyond any doubt that you actually hold the card you are using for this transaction, and to avoid anyone other than you from shopping with your card number. All information you submit is transferred over secure SSL connections.

* The name of this code differs per card company. You may also know it as the Card Verification Value (CVV), the Card Security Code or the Personal Security Code. All names cover the same type of information.

Cost Centre Code

Also known as Purchase Id, Procurement Number/Id and Cost Centre number. If you enter this information then we will treat your card like a Corporate Purchasing Card.

Warning! Using this field with non-corporate purchasing cards may cause problems or delays when we attempt to authorise your card. If you are unsure please speak to your issuing bank.

Financial Services FAQs
What is the Financial Services Group? The Credit Control is comprised of four operating departments (Credit, Collections, Credit Card Services, and Leasing) dedicated to exceeding customer expectations by providing creative and effective financing solutions.
What financing solutions are offered by Insight? Insight offers a wide array of financing options including:
 • Leasing
 • Open Account Terms
 • Credit, Debit, and Purchasing Cards
 • Prepayment via wire transfer or certified check
 • Letter of Credit
 • Distribution Finance Programs
What is the usual turnaround time for a credit application to be reviewed? Many customers can receive approval within a few hours depending upon several factors including:
 • Amount of credit requested
 • Repayment structure requested
 • Information provided
 • Available public information (D&B, etc.)
However, please expect 24 to 48 hours as a rule of thumb.
What information should I provide to the Credit Department? All customers must submit either the Insight Credit application
The credit application may be sufficient to grant the requested credit facility, however to avoid delays it is best to submit the past two fiscal years CPA prepared (complete with notes) financial statements and the most current interim statement.
 • Please be sure to fill out the credit amount requested section
 • If you are interested in a lease line of credit simply fill out the appropriate sections of the credit application.
Why does the credit application have to be signed by an authorised agent? Many times Insight cannot obtain sufficient credit information without the signature indicating your company has authorised the release. It is also helpful to have the credit application signed by a signor on your company's bank account. This will eliminate delays with some banks.
Can I contact the Credit or any other FSG department directly via telephone or e-mail? We prefer your sales professional be the primary contact. However, if you wish to contact any department, please feel free to do so. By phone dial 08701 66 99 33 and ask the receptionist for the applicable department or if e-mail is your choice, send your question and or comments to sales@uk.insight.com.
Will I receive an account statement on regular basis? Absolutely, you will receive a detailed account statement by the 15th of the following month to which the statement pertains. If you have any recommendation(s) for enhancement, we would welcome your comments.
Can you provide information regarding Leasing? Click here for Leasing.
