Insight ranked number one of seven suppliers, on new framework which will grant all public sector organisations direct access to the technology and expertise they need to drive forward their ICT projects.

London, 27th September 2019 – Insight, a Fortune 500-ranked global provider of Intelligent Technology Solutions today announced it has been awarded a place, and ranked number one out of seven suppliers, on the updated HealthTrust Europe (HTE) framework, the HTE ComIT2 – ICT Solutions 2019 Framework.  The framework helps public sector organisations streamline their IT procurement via the direct award, while ensuring all procurement compliancy regulations are adhered to. Insight’s leading place on the framework allows theirs clients direct access to ICT products and services, saving procurement time and cost. Insight is also uniquely positioned to conduct market tests on behalf of their clients offering them further cost savings. As a result, public sector organisations will find it simpler and lower-cost than ever before to access the technology and support they need to operate efficiently and effectively.

“The UK public sector is a key market for us. Whether transforming their cloud and data centre infrastructure, better connecting their workforce or taking advantage of new digital innovation, we fully support the ambitions of public sector organisations,” commented Darren Hedley, UK Public Sector Director at Insight. “We have a strong portfolio of services and solutions that can help organisations improve the way they work – whether that means equipping employees with up-to-date devices that help them work more effectively, or improving efficiency by moving services to the cloud. HTE is a key route to market for us and the new framework offers an almost limitless scope of ICT solutions. We are very proud to have been awarded first place, which is a demonstration of our expertise within the public sector”

The scope of technology available through the framework includes provisioning of hardware, software and Insight services through a single lot. The direct award also removes the need to conduct lengthy procurement exercises, which add time and cost to clients. Organisations using the framework will be able to benefit from Insight’s broad partner portfolio, vendor-agnostic approach, and industry-leading expertise in fields such as data centre transformation, digital innovation and building a more connected workforce.
