Insight Unveils Next-Gen Office in Sheffield

Sheffield, UK, 22nd April 2024 Insight Enterprises (NASDAQ:NSIT), a global Solutions Integrator driving client success through digital transformation, has opened its new Sheffield office today, as part of a relocation project which started last year. This next-generation workplace has been designed to enhance client delivery services by fostering collaboration, innovation, and supporting employee wellbeing.

“At Insight, we are dedicated to enabling our clients’ success in today’s digital world,” said Darren Hedley, UK Managing Director at Insight. “With agile touchdown work areas, collaborative spaces, and modern technology infrastructure, we’re providing an environment tailored for creativity and innovation. The workspaces are equipped with enhanced remote collaboration tools and video conferencing capabilities, to ensure seamless connectivity for both in-office and remote meetings, catering to the evolving needs of our teammates and providing them with the tools to deliver better services for our clients.”

Insight is a level 2 Disability Confident Employer, committed to supporting people with disabilities within the workplace. Notably, the design approach of the new facility features wayfinding signage, as well as bright and engaging visual aids to support employees with neurodiversity. Employee wellbeing is a priority for Insight, and the company has been recognised as one of the UK’s Best Workplaces for Wellbeing (2023) by Great Place To Work® UK.

“Our people are at the heart of all that we do, and we continue to invest in our teammates and their workplace environments,” said Carly Turner, HR Manager at Insight UK. “The new hub enables us to provide further support for our employees through the introduction of a wellbeing room. This space can be used by our teammates whenever they need some private space: whether that be for mental health support, prayer, first aid, or for use by new mothers. We’ve also integrated new design features throughout the office to make it easier for neurodiverse teammates to navigate their way around. This will help us continue to foster a diverse and inclusive workplace culture.”

Spanning 13,500 square feet, the office features ergonomic design and new technology, including 34” computer screens at every desk, and a 98” digital screen within an open-plan training area and client meeting space. The workplace also features huddle booths and collaboration zones.

The new facility highlights Insight’s continued commitment to invest in the north of England, having been in Sheffield for over 20 years, and the company also has a modernised office in Manchester. There are plans for further expansion in Sheffield with the opening of a state-of-the-art customer fulfilment centre in January next year.
