Electrolux Professional Group, a global provider in the sectors of catering, coffee & beverage, and professional laundry with approximately 4500 employees worldwide, including about 1000 in Italy, develops solutions, products, and components with a particular focus on innovation and environmental sustainability. In this context, the availability of clear technical information, complete with images, shared and searchable, is an essential element in terms of productivity and reliability.

The Challenge

In Electrolux Professional Group, after technical content meetings, there often emerged a clear need to distribute and make searchable the information shared during the meeting itself. This was achieved through the creation of summaries and documents with specific structures and formatting.
The manual report creation process was assigned to users, exposing the company to potential delays or incomplete information, and it was also time-consuming. Additionally, the generated summaries often needed to include images or other shared documents to support productivity and progress. It was also necessary to clearly highlight the agreed-upon next actions and any pending points.

To meet this need, Electrolux Professional Group, with the support of Insight, developed the EPROmeet solution. This solution, through an approval workflow managed with Power Automate, allows the use of Microsoft Azure's OpenAI Services and queries the Teams GraphAPI to extract meeting recordings and transcriptions. It also adds relevant images shown during the meeting to create a final document based on approved templates, highlighting the next steps to be taken and any pending points.
