Cloud Commerce Platform (CCx) and Cloud Consumption Reporting (CCR) - Improvements & Developments

Current updates of Insight's Cloud Commerce Platforms:

Cloud Commerce Platform - CCx on https://buy.insight.com - June 06, 2026:

  1. Azure GDAP Enhancements:

We have implemented GDAP (Granular Delegated Admin Privileges) validation controls for Azure product additions to ensure proper authorization and customer awareness.

CCx now performs an active GDAP verification check whenever a customer attempts to add Azure products to their cart, preventing unauthorized additions and maintaining compliance with Microsoft's delegation requirements.

When GDAP status is not active, both 1-Tier (1T) and 2-Tier (2T) customers receive clear, contextual messaging informing them of the GDAP requirement, enabling them to understand why Azure products cannot be added and what steps may be needed to establish or activate their GDAP relationship before proceeding with their purchase.

  2. Enhanced Order Details Information:

We have enhanced the Orders listing page to provide customers with greater visibility and accountability by displaying the user who placed each order.

Customers can now see the specific user associated with each order on the Orders page, enabling them to easily identify who made the purchase, track order history by user, and maintain clear records of order placement within their organization.

This improvement is particularly valuable for multi-user accounts where multiple team members may place orders, allowing customers to quickly reference and audit their order activity.

  3. Updates to the CCx Navigation Bar:

We have improved navigation consistency and user experience on the Contact Us page by ensuring the main navbar is displayed, providing customers with consistent access to primary navigation options across all pages.

Additionally, the navigation links have been reorganized to reflect customer usage patterns, with links ordered based on actual customer click behavior and frequency.

The most frequently accessed links appear first, reducing navigation time.

  4. Admin User Enhancements:

We have enhanced admin user management by adding phone number capability to admin user details across all customer tiers (1-Tier, 2-Tier, and 2-Tier Enterprise Cloud), enabling future feature development and improving customer communication options.

The system now supports phone number storage for admin users. The phone number field is non-required, allowing flexibility for users who prefer not to provide contact information while establishing the infrastructure for future enhancements that may leverage phone-based communications, notifications, or verification processes.

  5. Updates to Microsoft Customer Agreement (MCA) Management:

We have enhanced the Microsoft Customer Agreement (MCA) management by implementing direct acceptance detection and transparent status messaging for customers.

CCx now checks whether an MCA was accepted directly through the Microsoft Admin Center (MAC) when customers select "Update MCA," verifying acceptance status against Microsoft's records to ensure accurate agreement tracking.

In addition we provide customers with clear messaging indicating when their MCA acceptance has been confirmed as "Provided" through Microsoft.

  6. RAP Enhancements:

We have empowered Resellers with enhanced customer account management capabilities in the Reseller Account Prortal (RAP) by enabling them to modify end customer information and control customer visibility.

Resellers can now change an end customer's name directly within RAP, providing flexibility to update customer records when business names change or corrections are needed without requiring system administrator intervention.

Additionally, resellers have been granted the ability to hide customers from their RAP view, allowing them to manage their customer list by removing inactive, test, or archived accounts from their primary dashboard while maintaining the underlying customer records in the system.
