If you pay to use your devices over a set period, you can simply return them to Insight – the monthly fee takes account of their residual value over the course of the payment period. Insight can then redeploy or recycle them helping to reduce waste - in line with security, environmental and WEEE objectives. 

If you purchase your devices upfront, you may be faced with a costly problem of safe and secure disposal. An alternative is for Insight to refurbish, reconfigure and redeploy – saving money and conserving the planet’s precious resources and potentially releasing funds for use elsewhere.

Devices also need to have their operating system and security policies updated. This can be a highly technical procedure, which can be provided by a third party or directly through Insight.

Asset management is at the heart of device lifecycle refresh. Insight can integrate with many ITSM platforms including ServiceNow to automate the process of joiners, movers, leavers.  Our own team of automation specialists create lean, friction-free connections to support request fulfilment expediently.  Supported by our adoption and change management team we create easy and user-friendly experiences to onboard and offboard users to enable organisations to remain agile in terms of headcount.

From the consolidation of packaging, efficient drop off and collection services to recycling of retired assets, Insight is working to reduce emissions related to the provision and lifecycle of devices.  Additionally, we can plant a tree for each DaaS device, creating forests both locally and overseas supporting our carbon and social value initiatives.  

If you opt into a ‘break-fix service’, damaged, lost or stolen devices will be replaced with a ready-to-use device – reducing lost time and improving productivity. Additionally, damaged devices can be repaired and then put back into stock – preserving the planet’s resources.

Furthermore, we will proactively monitor device age and refresh life cycles in your estate, co-ordinate repair activities and work with you to plan and deliver replacement devices for those coming to the end of functional or lease life.
