What is Insight’s Skills Academy all about?
This two year programme, designed to provide you with a broad range of skills and knowledge, will open the door for a successful career in Sales, Operations or Technical positions within Insight.

Skills Academy – Year 1 Overview
Months 1-3
What to expect from your first three months:
- An introduction to technology market and the IT channel
- Understand the Insight business through access to senior leaders and a dedicated mentor
- Build your technology knowledge through vendor meetings and accreditations
- Develop your commercial skills through our Solution Sales Methodology
Months 3-6
As you develop you can expect to experience the following:
- Build on your Cloud and Digital Transformation knowledge through eLearning, workshops and accreditations
- Work with your Performance Coach to identify and agree on Sales or Services rotation where you will complete specific projects and work more closely with the teams
- Continued mentor, senior leadership and learning & development support
Months 6-12
Starting your journey within a specific area of Insight:
- Start your first role in either Sales or Services
- Working closely with your manager and the Academy team to identify and develop further specific role skills & knowledge
- Engage with clients and get involved in more client projects
- Continued mentor, senior leadership and Academy support
