Aim of the framework:

To provide a wide range of critical incident and public safety management software, solutions and services. Solutions may be new, amendments, or an upgrade; from a single boxed order through to full deployment with associated hardware and ancillary services. This may include commercial off the shelf software (COTS), open-source software, software licences, or niche and bespoke software.

The DPS supports:

• The Emergency and Blue Light Services that have used critical incident and public safety management systems for many years, noting their capability to perform a wide range of complex tasks is constantly increasing.
• Other public sector organisations managing public spaces and events using technology to be more efficient and effective.
• The delivery of incident command, risk management and event management.
